Welcome to St John's Group Practice Online

Extended Access - Appointments Outside of Practice Hours

Extra appointments are being provided in the evening and at weekends across Doncaster. The service is an extension of your GP practice and offers routine and same day appointments with a range of clinicians including GPs, Nurses and other Healthcare Professionals.

When using the service, you may not see your usual doctor, but we do employ clinicians from local practices where possible.

With your consent, our clinicians will be able to access your healthcare record to ensure they can offer the right treatment for you, and prescribe medication or refer you for further treatment if necessary.

These appointments are run by Primary Care Doncaster Limited and are offered from the following locations:

The Lakeside Practice, Askern, DN6 0HZ

Tickhill and Colliery Medical Practice, Tickhill, DN11 9NA

Conisbrough Group Practice, Conisbrough, DN12 3JW

Thorne Moor Medical Practice, Thorne, DN8 4BQ

Same Day Health Centre, Town Centre, DN1 2DJ

We can book you an appointment out of practice hours at a weekend or evening from reception – ask for further details.

Information from the Care Quality Commission

Our Practice is inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure we are meeting essential standards of quality and safety.  This widget provides a summary of the results of the latests checks carried out by the CQC.

Teenage Friendly

St John's Group Practice is a teenage friendly practice.  We are willing to see anyone over the aged of 14 on their own though they may bring along a member of their family or friend if they prefer.  We would prefer to see under-16s with their parents.  Wherever possible it is better that teenagers make their parents aware of any health problems, however this is the teenager's choice.

Disabled Patients

A lift is available to assist disabled and poor mobility patients with access to the second floor. For patients with an hearing impediment there is a minicom situated on the reception counter.

Friends and Family Test

Would you recommend our Practice to friends and family?  Help improve care by clicking on the 'Friends and Family Test' heading in the 'Have your say' section and completing the questionnaire.

Patient Suggestions

At St John's we aim to provide a first class service.  Suggestions or observations are always welcome and should be made in writing to the Practice Manager.  Alternatively there is a Suggestion Box in the reception waiting area and the upstairs waiting area for your comments and suggestions.
